Bespoke doors

A door is the first and last thing you touch in a room. Novant makes custom entry, pivot and cavity doors in solid timber and steel, sized and detailed to your opening, hardware and finish specification.

Made to the opening

Novant doors are built to the exact dimensions of your opening, which means no exposed gaps, no sight lines to the frame and no last-minute adjustments on site. We work from a detailed workshop drawing that resolves the hardware, threshold, weathering and ironmongery before a single piece of timber is cut.

We make pivot doors, cavity sliders, barn doors, bi-fold systems and traditional hinged doors in both solid timber and steel frame with timber panels. We can also work with glazed panels, louvre panels and combinations.

Materials and options

Specified to the detail

Timber species

American oak, walnut, spotted gum, blackbutt and Victorian ash. All solid, kiln dried and stable. Vertical or flat grain to your preference.

Steel frames

Mild steel and stainless with timber, glass or perforated panel infill. Raw, blackened or powder-coated to a custom RAL colour.

Hardware

We work with your hardware supplier or specify from our preferred list. Pivots, tracks, hinges and pulls are all resolved at drawing stage.

Finishes

Oiled, hardwaxed, lacquered and raw. All finishes applied and tested in the workshop before delivery. Re-finishing advice is provided with every door.
